Time for Q&A and to review images will be available at the end of both the morning and afternoon session. 1-day workshop, max 5 people.
Introduction to dSLRs

The afternoon session will be outdoors and focus on freezing (or not) movement, dealing with bright sun versus shadows, and the use of fill flash. On-camera and off-camera strobe lighting theory will be discussed along side with continuous or available light. If you have specific gear you have questions about please bring it with you. Portraiture Strobe Lighting
We’re working on setting up a 2-day summer workshop next year covering the use of many types of strobe-type lighting in portraiture. I’ll be covering studio strobe gear and Canon Speedlites using both wired and wireless (including Canon’s E-TTL II) and Brenda will be covering Nikon’s Speedlights (yes, they are spelled differently between brands) and Nikon CLS. Dates and exact course are still in progress, but you can use the contact link to send me an e-mail with your name and phone number and I’ll add you to the list to be notified.
Photographing Your Project
Due to significant interest I’m working on putting together a 1-day workshop on how to take the best photos of your knitting, crochet, or other hobby project. Will cover lighting, presentation, etc for small and large projects as well as garments that people are wearing. Planning for late summer.
